Welcome to Racebeats (accessible at https://racebeats.com), a platform operated by SIA RACEBEATS, a company registered in Latvia (registration number: 40203648399). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Racebeats.
1. Platform Overview
Racebeats is a platform for cycling events and challenges. Approved event organizers publish events and challenges, and athletes can discover them and register to take part. With your permission, Racebeats reads your Strava activity data to generate performance statistics, produce event results and rankings, and verify results. Organizers can operate as part of an organization (team) with multiple members.
2. Eligibility and Registration
To use Racebeats, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction).
- Create an account using one of our sign-in methods: your Strava account, your Google account, or an email address and password.
- Provide profile information such as your name, date of birth, gender, country, team affiliation, phone number, and email.
By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for your account and for activity that happens under it:
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- If you register with an email address and password, you may need to verify your email before some features become available.
- You can review and sign out of your active sessions at any time.
- To protect accounts, we may rate-limit sign-in attempts, temporarily lock accounts, or alert you about sign-ins from new locations.
4. Organizers and Organizations
Only approved event organizers may publish events. Organizers are approved after a personal interview with the Racebeats team. An organizer can create an organization and invite other members, who may hold owner, admin, or member roles.
Organizers are responsible for their events and challenges, including event content, pricing, participant communications, refunds, and compliance with applicable law. Where an organizer receives participant data, the organizer acts as an independent controller of that data.
5. Events and Participation
When you take part in events on Racebeats:
- You can register for an event and, where offered, a specific distance.
- Each booking can hold one result.
- Organizers may approve, reject, or cancel registrations.
- Organizers may run participant check-in and issue finisher certificates that display your name and result.
6. Paid Events and Payments
Many events are free. Some organizers choose to enable paid registration. Where an event is paid:
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Racebeats does not store your card details.
- Racebeats charges the participant, retains a platform fee and any optional donation you choose to add, and remits the remaining amount to the organizer.
- Organizers may offer coupons or discount codes, and invoices are available for your payments.
- Organizers may also record offline or complimentary payments.
Refunds and cancellations are managed by the organizer. If you need a refund, or your event is cancelled or changed, please contact the organizer directly. The platform fee and any donation may be non-refundable.
7. Activities, Results, and Fair Play
To keep competition fair:
- Only activities recorded with Strava count toward event results.
- Manually entered Strava activities (typed in by hand, without device or GPS data) are excluded from competitive results, and trainer or virtual activities may be flagged.
- Result verification uses activity data, including GPS location and its proximity to the event, to help confirm that a result is genuine.
- You must not upload falsified activities, or impersonate or misrepresent your identity.
8. User Content and Conduct
You may post comments, contribute to event news, and submit bug reports. Public comments are visible to everyone, including non-registered visitors, and are moderated:
- Offensive, harmful, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate content will be removed.
- Admins may remove any content at their discretion.
You agree not to:
- Submit offensive, illegal, or harmful content.
- Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.
- Interfere with the functionality, availability, or security of the platform.
9. Account Deletion and Termination
You may delete your account at any time. When you do, we remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Racebeats is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Continuous or error-free service.
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data or statistics presented.
All information is for general informational purposes only.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIA RACEBEATS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

- Third-party conduct or content, including organizers' events and payment handling.
12. Dispute Resolution
